The Fluffy Explorer

This yellow cheeseball of a concept piece originated while I was experimenting with fur simulations in Blender and wanted to transform a mechanical shape into a fluffy character. I aimed to keep the base shape of the ship minimalistic and grounded in science fiction. The main body was designed in Plasticity, then remeshed in Topogun (atleast the main body), before creating the UVs in Blender and texturing it in Substance Painter. Later, I added fur and rendered it in Blender. I was inspired by the Alpaca for the fur and experimented with different layers to get it right.
This fluffy explorer is new to service and hasn't done much work yet. I would like to create a weathered version of it, reflecting years of service under its belt, and turn it into a game-ready asset.
